Can I not catch a break?

In March Brad was out of work for 2 weeks, one without pay, because of his appendix.

In April I get laid off, 7 months preggo and get denied Unemployment and have yet to hear anything about my appeal. We're living off Brad's income and he moves to another shift to work OT.

Just a few weeks ago I spend 3 days in the hospital and Brad takes off time to take care of both Brayden and me. So we didn't get any income there either.

Yesterday Brad was playing in the pool and slipped and dislocated his shoulder after 3 years of it initially happening. He goes and sees the Dr today and ultimately sends him to see a shoulder specialist.

This Dr says that Brad needs an MRI and quite possibly surgery depending on how bad things got messed up this time around. AND HE CAN'T WORK UNTIL THE MRI FOLLOW-UP. We don't know when this MRI is just yet, we'll find that out tomorrow.

If he does indeed need surgery then well I'm up shit creek because he'll be out six weeks and I'm in the first stage of labor.

So that equals NO INCOME. Well except the shitty little disability that he would get. Which I believe was less than what I was making working 25 hours a week at 7.25/hour.

Add on top of that I'm on my wits end about a vehicle and no one has nibbled and we were really hoping that this would be what would happen.

So I guess we'll go the trade in route and hopefully not get screwed over.

Add in the stress of Brayden's birthday and everything else and wondering if the next contraction will be within so many minutes and if they will continue like that.

I thought God answered prayers?

It's simple honey. If it's something he can live with for awhile, he has surgery in the future. I'm still waiting to have my next Dr Paley procedure done & it's still going to be awhile. All I can say is DON'T eat out & DON'T leave the house unless you have to. But the next question is, how are you going to hear about the MRI if you have no working phone?
