1) We all survived our first night at home with all 4 of us. Brayden at one point this morning walked over to the bassinet and didn't touch it but just peered in and then looked at me with that "shes okay ma" look on his face.
2) Yesterday we were visited by the diaper and wipe fairy. Our friend Kathy and her girls stopped by with the deluxe econo size boxes of diapers from Sams Club. So sitting in my living room we have 434 diapers not including the box that we bought Brayden earlier that day along with 704 wipes.
3) Our last little kitty, Little E, had to be put down today. As of last night he had found a new home, whom had other animals and everything. So he took him home, we gave him the litter that we had and everything. Well not even an hour later he calls his brother, our neighbor, to tell him he's bringing him back. Sure, we assumed that his girlfriend didn't want a kitten. He told us he had given him a bath and a flea treatment. This morning we wake up and Little E isn't quite right. He's shaking and just rightly can't walk right. Come to find out the flea treatment that he used was Frontline for a dog. Now anyone who has ever had animals should know that you can't use dog flea treatments on cats because of Permethrin, the main ingredient for dogs and a poison to cats. Yes he used that on Little E. It would have cost roughly $400 to make him better and that was still not going to be a def. survival. That's money that we don't have. So thankfully our vet put him down for nothing so that he didn't suffer any more than he had.

5) Aunt NiNi is the best!
1) I'm counting down the days. Tomorrow I will be exactly the same gestational age that I was with Brayden when he decided to make his appearance. And then I'm counting down until Thursday.
2) I remember wishing for the day that Brayden would start walking. Now, I'm honestly wishing for the day he would stop running because even with a good foot he is still quicker than me and always beats me to the bathroom before I can shut him out.
3) Brad is healing well. He went for his post-op follow-up yesterday and can start doing some very minimal exercises and instead of his "man bra immobilizer" he is now proudly sporting a TOC sling. Now let's get him back to work!
4) Butters the kitten found a new home with Brooke. He is now known as Bandit and I honestly can't wait to see what he looks like when he gets bigger. We all miss his little snuggle bug self here but he seems to have stolen the hearts of her family.
5) Brayden is officially on real cows milk and we haven't had a problem with it and his belly so I think that we are in the clear for that. He's adjusting well to the sippy cup with only a nighttime bottle for right now.
1) Why do men think that when they get sick that they are going to die and therefore are incapable of doing ANYTHING other than moping around? Heaven forbid they have to get up and assist with something.
2) Brayden is well on his way to walking. Yesterday, and I rather enjoy that Brad didn't get to see, but he took a whopping 4 whole steps by himself! He has yet to recreate that moment but that is perfectly fine with me. Hes still my little boy and he doesn't need to grow up this fast.
3) Ive started my ritual of sleeping on the couch yet again. Its the only place that I can get comfy and have my 4 million pillows :) When I was pregnant with Brayden I slept there for all of May, June and the beginning of July.
4) I'm a slacker mommy and have just started thinking about Brayden's upcoming 1st birthday. Yea, that is all I'm going to say about that.
5) I pray everyday that I am given the ability to snap my fingers and make everything better. They have yet to be answered but I think maybe I'll get through one day. I just wish that things were different. I wish that on so many levels for so many different people and not just me.
